Family in Indiana

Thought my Mom would appreciate pictures of the family in Indiana, so here they are. Cozy, Corbin and Trent are nearly inseparable (Truman as well, but since he isn't in the picture, I guess he must've been separated). Cozette has picked Trent to be her knight in shining armor and he sweetly obliges.

Some of the single (right now, anyway) girls had some of the younger females over for a slumber party where the youngsters received new hairdos. When told that her golden curls were beautiful, Sophia consistently said, "I know!"

No wonder Truman was separated from the dearly beloved Trent, he was busy with the tinker toys, far too important was his task!

Silas Parker is very much a Mamma's boy, he is rarely out of her arms. If he does happen to be parted from her, he is very upset until her return. Apparently the camera was cause enough for a break in his discomfort.

More Faces

Haelley has grown so much in the last couple of weeks! She is now crawling, pulling herself up into a standing position and going from lying down to sitting up. One of her new accomplishments is puckering up her mouth and making a smacking sound.

I don't have anything exciting to say about this picture. This is Haelley!

The picture is a little blurry, but this is the first time with blueberries, they were a hit!

More Haelley and Kaylea

Kaylea is the youngster up the stairs from us. Here are some more pics of Haelley and her.

Jasper Escapes!

Jasper escaped (Sunday or Monday). He finally discovered how to lift his cage door, and he fluttered about for a few seconds before finding a nice place on the carpet to settle down on. Haelley showed immediate attention, so we let her go for the little guy. Surprisingly, he didn't fly away from her, just waddling with extreme caution. Finally, Haelley dealt a paralyzing blow. Jasper couldn't escape the clutches of the mighty Haelley, only able to squawk violently. Unfortunately, the crushing blow, violent squawking, and the events following are not available in this clip because the recording function is almost a second slow on the camera. Apologies for the inconveniences.

New Outfit!

This is one of Haelley's new anonymously-delivered outfits. She was Capt. Haelley for the day.

Sick Haelley

Last week, Haelley was sick with a double ear infection that produced a high fever and stuffy nose. Very concerned I took her to the doctor. She is now on an antibiotic and doing much better. Today she went from sitting to pulling herself up almost to her feet, I was so proud. Praise God for healing her so quickly!

Playing Piano

Haelley practices the piano diligently every day, she is pretty good at it too! It is so much fun to see the surprised look on her face when she actually causes the instrument to make a noise.
