Typical Haelley

Ok ladies and gentlemen, this is a very rare thing. These photos are actually brand new from this morning (don't get used to it). She loves to take her sleeper off before I get her out of bed. But, as you can see in the next picture, she had been distracted.

She big into organizing so I guessed she was doing one of two things. One, she was piling her bedding up to make an escape route, or two, she was simply organizing.

I have found her sucking her thumb more and more frequently, I think it's a "bored" thing.

She is learning to smile for the camera. This is one of the rare moments when that command actually worked

Another example of "organizing." After the job was finished she just sat there and sucked her thumb.

She loves it when I do laundry, it's an opportunity for a cruise ship.

Or, possibly a bed. This one had started out with the thumb sucking too, but she started hamming it up as soon as I got the camera.

Baking with Mommy

Flipping pancakes holds some kind of fascination with her. I think they are her favorite thing to make with me.

She is also usually in charge of holding the cookbook.

She didn't quite get the concept of peeling tangerines, so she tried eating the peels, something she wasn't too thrilled with.

This was so much fun! We made Christmas cookies together and it was a blast. I think she probably ate a cup of cookie dough.

This was the easiest way to get to the good stuff.

I don't know why, but the computer wouldn't let me put this next to the pancake pictures, but that's where it's supposed to go.

Thanksgiving in Arizona

This was actually at the airport on the way home from AZ, but it could go either way. :)

All of us were surprised at how well the two got along. They had been taking cooler rides with their matching "Bos"

We weighed the kiddos with a fish scale and then we all took turns trying to see how much weight we could get it to register. This was Jason's turn.

Michael and I were pitted against Mom and Dad. Even though we don't have a picture of it, Mom and Dad won.

Haelley just being cute. I try no to put too many of these on here, because I'm kind of partial. :)

Jason and John bonded over Xbox gaming.

Haelley Venting

One of Haelley's new hobbies is removing the air vents from the floor and hanging out in the hole in the floor.

HaelleyVision

Beginning with her blue shades (not shown here, for the video is too long), Haelley became fascinated with distorting her vision, especially with color. This provides for some hysterical baby time.

Haelley's Winter Suit 2

Haelley, or Mommy, tries on Haelley's winter suit again, a year too big. She's more than a little unstable. Stayed tuned to the end for an exciting twist!

Haelley Goes Round & Round/ Intro to "Puppy"

Haelley loved to be spun around until she's silly. Now she's learned to go "round and round" all by herself. Also, the end of the video will introduce you to E-beth's new doggy. His name is Scrappy, for his attitude and after Scrappy Doo. He's called a puggle, a beagle-pug mix.

Here's Haelley's "please." It's been perfected since this pic.

Shelby was attacked while the neighbors was over with his dogs after the big power outage a while back. We did all we could and hoped for the best. Guess it worked; she's still around.

Haelley's favorites, "baby" and "Bo Bo," are ready to roll. Quite a responsible young lady, except she can't quite get them buckled in yet.

Haelley still loves Shelby, the feeling's mutual.

No More "Tuh Tuh"

Sadly, there is no update on Stumpy, the three-legged turtle. During a cage cleaning one day, Stumpy ran away. Thankfully, Haelley has already forgotten him, or her, and we have a clean cage all the time now.

Stumpy the Turtle

Haelley's 2nd Symphony

Haelley's 1st BDay

Mommy made the cake--start to finish.

Haelley loves her very own camping chair.

She wears her backpack even though it's sometimes stuffed with too many toys, and it's hard to keep her balance.

Who turned out the lights?

Henry Doorly Zoo

The famous bronze lions at the zoo. You just have to get your picture with them.

She actually looked pretty comfortable, would you call her the Alpha Gorilla?

This one is for Michael. He likes the white tigers best

Haelley didn't know what to make of the porcupine. He looks so fluffy, you want to pet him, but I've heard that's highly unadvisable.
This is the only appropriate picture we got of the bear. The rest of the time he spent peeing in our faces.

I think she's had a little too much of the zoo.

This is one of those pictures that makes my heart hurt. I never knew I could love someone so much it feels as if your heart will break.

Mahoney State Park

We ate at Mahoney Lodge and then went paddle-boating. We were going to go on a horseride, but we weren't aloud to take Haelley.

Stacey and I only seem to take "sister pictures" when I'm pregnant.
For my Hubsand. Here are your girls, love you, babe.

You have no idea how long it took to get Haelley to look even remotely towards the camera.
Haelley was very excited to get on the boat but that quickly turned into anger and frustration when she discovered that swimming was not on the agenda. She tried over and over again to throw herself off the side.
She just looked like a very cute duck.
Here she is, ready to go!
